Being a leader in todays society is both challenging and rewarding. The complexities of being in an ever-changing society, leading teams remotely & working online, thinking there’s never enough hours in the day, integrating the different working cultures of the ‘baby boomers, Millennials, the Gen Y and Z’, leadership is hard work.

Most people are in leadership roles because they believe they can make a difference, maybe it’s about fulfilling a higher purpose or passing down some of their wisdom to the younger generation. Whatever motivates someone to be a leader it’s essential to demonstrate resilience, agility, emotional intelligence, an ability to handle conflict, have a clear vision of where they are going and a desire to inspire others.

To thrive as a leader requires a high level of self-awareness, an understanding of your own values and how they align with the organisation you are working for or the business you own and a growth mindset towards personal development.

Engaging a coach can assist you as a leader in reflecting on your leadership skills and attributes. Exploring the values and beliefs you hold, often unconsciously, creating greater self-awareness, resilience, and growth. With a deeper awareness and ability to make some personal changes, you will be able to move towards your goals with new insight and have greater potential to influence the teams you are leading.

You, as the client are always in the driving seat. During the coaching sessions I will spend time listening to you, asking clarifying questions to assist you in choosing the direction for the session and the outcomes they want to achieve. As I listen and you gain awareness, at any stage, you have the choice to refocus the session.
